I've worn eyeshadow as eyeliner liner for as long as I've worn makeup. As much as I love it and nuzzle into the comforts of it's powdery embrace, I feel like I'm limiting myself and not living to my full potential. I'm ashamed to admit that I never learned how to properly use liquid eyeliner.
That ends now.
Tutorials are fun and all, but like anything else in life, we learn by doing. For each day in the month of May, I will apply liquid eyeliner to my eye region. The hope is, by the end of the month, I'll be able to apply liquid liner perfectly.*
I've purchased what a lot of people consider the best liquid liner: Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black. There is no going back now. Because I spent $22 on this thing.
I will post evidence of this 31-day project on Instagram under the not at all suggestive hashtag #eyeLineUlook. It starts this Monday. You are welcome to follow along with me on this important journey of self discovery. There will be laughter, tears, and potentially some eyeball gouging. You bet your ass I will take a picture of my dangle eye.

*I will also accept: apply liquid liner in an eh-good-enough line, apply liquid liner like a pro (who is using their non-dominant hand), or apply liquid liner without knocking everything off my vanity in a fit of frustration.
